5. Under that “Notices” tab you will find option named as: “Updated Prov. List Of Eligible Candidates Round 1”
   
6. Click on that option, then the PDF file of Round 1 Provisional NEET Merit List will be opened in new tab.
7. After that, use ‘Ctrl + F’ function and type your name to find in that list.
8. And if you are using a mobile phone, then a new tab will be opened showing download option of that file.

In How Much Phases Will WBMCC Release NEET Merit List 2023?

The West Bengal NEET Merit List 2023 will be released in two phases:

Provisional Merit List: The provisional merit list will be released in August 2023. This list will be used for the first round of counselling.

Final Merit List: The final merit list will be released in September 2023. This list will be used for the second and subsequent rounds of counselling.

If two to candidates score the same marks and get the same rank in the NEET Exam, then conducting authority has some rules for that tie breaking process, she those rules below-

• Candidate who get more marks in biology will be get the higher rank in WB NEET Merit List 2023
• If they also get the same number of marks in biology, candidates with higher mark in chemistry will be given higher position in MBBS 2023.
• Candidates who have attempted less number of wrong answers will be given a priority.
• If the tie still remains, then student with greater age will be given an extra preference.
