Montessori is the fastest growing and most successful method of education today. Our version of Montessori - Gurukula education system integrates the spirit of Dr. Maria Montessori with Indian Vedic traditions and culture, giving our students a unique blend of perspectives on life, and tools for adaptation into the modern world without loosing the sight and pride of their roots.

Interestingly, there is a strong link between Dr. Maria Montessori and India. During World War II Dr. Montessori was forced into exile from Italy because of her antifascist views and lived and worked in India. It was here that she developed her work Education for Peace, and developed many of the ideas taught in her training courses today. These ideas bear strong resemlance to the ancient Vedic Gurukula system of education and undoubtedly are based on it. She was twice nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize.

Curriculum is what constitutes a total teaching - learning program comprising of overall aims, syllabus, materials, methods and assessment. In short, it provides a framework of knowledge and capabilities, seen as appropriate to a particular level.
Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) refers to a system of school based evaluation of a student that covers all aspects of student development.

These are the "Foundation years" during which early linguistic and arithmetic basics, scope for creative play, and physical fitness are taken care of. This is the time when good habits are instilled and sense of identity takes shape.

- Language development and fluency through phonetic drill
- Learning takes place through planned activities
- Development of motor skill is through indoor and outdoor activities
- Development of auditory visual discrimination is through Rhyme Time, enacting stories, talent shows etc.
- Interesting writing activities are given to enhance their observation skills, quantitative analysis and sequencing
Creative expression is built through art and craft
- Celebration of major festivals ensure a harmonious balance of various cultures
Mathematics and science are dealt with through interactive sessions
- Students are introduced to study of computers


This is a time of multi-dimensional learning. Curriculum is based on the NCERT framework as per CBSE.

- English, Hindi, Kannada, Mathematics, EVS (only for I to II std), Science and Social Science (for III to IV std).
- Introduction to computers with theory and practical training is essential in a modern world.
- Student have physical training classes and yoga to develop their agility and fitness.


School follows a non - detention policy. A report will be issued three times per year, based on classroom work and home assignment, theme based work sheet and observation of the child.

- Through Unit tests, Class tests, Work sheets, Mental Mathematics, Vocabulary and Dictation.
- For I - II there will be a minimum eight cycles of Round test. For III-V four formative assessments and two summative assessments, similar to middle and secondary school.
- Apart from this we include assessment of conduct, discipline, and participation in school and outside activities.


Students are trained to handle semester portions. We follow three language policy prescribed by CBSE. Curriculum is based on team work, group discussion, group project, and experiments through Mathematics and Science Laboratories, role play etc., all these activities are encouraged in both scholastic and co-scholastic areas.


An integrated two years curriculum and CCE assessment is offered by CBSE for IX & X. The scheme of studies aims at a holistic assessment which include both scholastic and co-scholastic areas. Due importance is given on life skills, values, sport and co-curriculum by various activities.

In the middle school level, like in the secondary, formative and summative tests are done to evaluate the child's academic performance. Formative assessment includes pen-paper test and activities in various subjects. Summative assessment will be twice in each academic session. Promotion shall depend on the overall performance of the student in both scholastic and co-scholastic area and also subject to 90% attendance in class during the academic year.


Academic excellence alone cannot foster development in all areas of learning. The holistic assessment requires maintaining an ongoing and comprehensive profile for each learner. Keeping in view the personality development of every individual student, the school organizes various events throughout the year to develop qualities such as self-esteem, positive attitude, life skills, creative and critical thinking, problem solving and decision making, managing stress and emotions.


In order to increase the competencies and promote healthy competition, the students from Standard 1 to 10 are divided into four houses namely Kadamba, Rashtrakoota, Hoysala and Chalukya with Yellow, Blue, Green and Red color uniform respectively.

In order to bring about a co-ordination between body and mind the school gives prime importance to physical fitness and sports activities. It provides opportunity for various games and sports like volleyball, throw ball, basketball, cricket, lawn tennis, shuttle badminton, kho-kho, kabaddi, etc.
The school also has its own band troop. Annually, various indoor and outdoor sports games are conducted and the students who excel are rewarded by the school management. Inter-house competitions urge them to win the race or trophy among the students, with a healthy spirit and attitude, in a healthy atmosphere of teamwork. The physical exercise plus lessons in collaboration help child in the overall mental and physical development.


Library is our gateway to the world of books and information. It is well furnished with variety of collections of books which is of utmost use to students. Apart from the syllabus oriented, it is embedded with books related to general literature, science and technology, languages, encyclopedias, fascinating story books, solving puzzles and value based education. It cultivates the habit of reading and develops the individual's ability to analyse the problems. The books are upgraded from time to time, to provide meaningful reference materials for students and teachers.


The School has an Audio room with an overhead projector, tape recorder, a television, DVD, computers with multimedia and internet facilities.


The School has well equipped Science, Mathematics, and Social Science labs for enquiry based, hands-on experience learning. Computer labs with internet facilities provide the advanced knowledge edge in this techno-savvy world. Digital classroom facilities make the learning colorful and effective.

The schools provides their own transport facilities to the students. Those who wish to avail this facility must submit the request in the prescribed format given separately at the time of admission.
